Are you interested in getting involved in disability advocacy on campus? Come join the SDC family! The Student Disability Commission, housed in the Associated Students of the UW (ASUW), is looking for interns for the 2022-2023 school year. Interns will gain experience with disability activism, event planning and project development. No previous experience is necessary!

The Student Disability Commission is comprised of 2 part-time employees (a Director and an Assistant Director) and 10 volunteer interns who work together to advocate for disability-related concerns on campus. We are currently looking for a:

  • Public Policy Coordinator
  • Undergraduate Advocacy & Outreach Intern
  • Graduate Advocacy & Outreach Intern
  • Multimedia Coordinator
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Community-Relations Coordinator
  • Disability & Healthcare Advocate
  • Disability Justice Advocate
  • Programming Coordinator
  • Accessibility Advocate
