We are Creating an Accessibility Opportunities Contact List!
By Shruthika Balasubramanian, Student Disability Commission | June 5, 2026
SDC is creating an optional contact list for students who want to hear about accessibility related opportunities. These may include product testing, feedback sessions, advocacy projects, community events, disability surveys, research opportunities, and campus accessibility initiatives.
This form is open to disabled students, students with accessibility related lived experiences, and students who are interested in supporting accessibility work. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or provide medical documentation to participate.
Who Should Fill Out the Form?
You may want to fill out the form if you are interested in:
- Hearing about SDC events and community opportunities
- Participating in accessibility testing or feedback sessions
- Sharing input on disability campus issues
- Learning about advocacy projects
- Supporting accessibility work at UW
- Connecting with disability resources and opportunities
You are welcome to share only the information they feel comfortable sharing.
Stay Connected
You can also stay involved by following SDC on Instagram, attending events, checking the website for updates, and reaching out with questions or accessibility concerns.
SDC welcomes students with many different experiences, identities, and levels of involvement. Whether you want to participate often or just hear about occasional opportunities, we would love to connect with you.
