SUMMARY:Solidarity Gathering for the Disabled\, D/deaf\, Neurodivergent\, Mad/mentally ill and allies
DESCRIPTION:We invite students\, staff\, faculty\, and community members to join us for a morning of solidarity. This gathering will create a space for attendees to participate in a discussion of how our community (D/disabled\, D/deaf\, neurodivergent\, mad/mentally ill and allies) can challenge violations of our right to live peacefully without fear of direct or indirect harm. Participation in discussion is optional. This will be a safe space for anti-discrimination and respect for all views and perspectives. \nGender Neutral bathrooms will be available. \nThe D Center is a wheelchair accessible and scent free space\, so please come scent free. Air purifiers are provided. CART and ASL interpreters have been requested. Please contact dcenter@uw.edu for any accessibility inquiries.
